Transfers to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office desk phone. If they do not answer, it goes to their cell phone. If they cannot answer, it moves to a voicemail. Voicemail states, in summary, if it is an emergency, dial 911. If not leave a message and they will return your call. The Sheriff's Office is on campus Monday-Thursday from 7 am-10 pm. Kishwaukee College will celebrate Black History Month throughout February by hosting several events and discussions for students and the public. Black History Month is observed annually to recognize and honor the accomplishments that Black people have made in the United States and across the world. The events hosted by Kish are free and may be in-person or virtual.
