Kishwaukee College is a two-year community college, located in rural DeKalb County
Illinois. Founded in 1968, for over 50 years Kish has been providing educational opportunities
to the local community. The Kish district encompasses 31 communities with a population
estimated just over 100,000, with six public high schools.

Kishwaukee College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and officially
recognized by the Illinois Community College Board and Illinois Board of Higher Education.
Nine other institutions offer additional accreditation or recognitions of specific
programs at Kish.
Three students from Kishwaukee College’s horticulture program put their floral design skills on display at the national level during the American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD) National Symposium, held in Las Vegas.
Kishwaukee College graduated its second class of Medical Assistant students during a pinning ceremony earlier this month at the College. Kish pinned four students before family and friends as recognition for their completion of the Medical Assistant Certificate.
