Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships reward and encourage student achievement, leadership and involvement by providing financial assistance for books, fees and tuition. Scroll down for information on HOW TO APPLY.


Scholarship applications are available during the Fall and Spring semesters to be used for the following semester.  Students are selected on a competitive basis according to each scholarship's specific requirements.  

Unless otherwise communicated, applications are generally accepted as follows:

  • Fall Semester Foundation Scholarships: Application period March 15- April 15
  • Spring Semester Foundation Scholarships: Application period September 15 - October 15

If the 15th falls on a weekend, we will adjust to the next business day.


The Spring 2023 application period will be open from Wednesday, September 14, 2022 and close on Friday, October 21, 2022. Questions  about current and future scholarship opportunities may be directed to the Foundation at 815-825-9803 or   

The Foundation team will offer drop-in, Zoom Help Sessions at the following dates and times. Stop by for a full tutorial or ask specific questions to help you navigate the application process.

  • Help Session #1 - Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2 pm to 3 pm 
  • Help Session #2 - Monday, September 19, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am 
  • Help Session #3 - Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 3 pm  to 4pm  
  • Help Session #4 - Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 1pm to 2pm 
  • Help Session #5 - Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am 
  • Help Session #6 - Monday, October 17, 2022 from 3 pm to 4 pm

Champions Fund

Financial assistance is available for all students who are currently enrolled and actively pursuing credit program or GED/Adult Education classes. Financial assistance is available for a variety of unexpected life challenges including transportation, childcare, medical/vision costs, housing and other emergencies that interfere with a student’s ability to attend school.
