Through Kish’s high school student programs, you can graduate faster, prepare for

2 Degrees in 3 Years
For students who want to make the most of their time in high school, we offer the
2 Degrees in 3 Years program. You can earn both an associate degree and a bachelor’s
degree in just three years after graduating high school by optimizing your coursework
in your junior and senior years of high school. Kishwaukee College offers several
different ways to do so. Whether it is through Dual Credit/KEC, Dual Enrollment, the
Engineering-Math-Science Academy (EMSA), or transferring in credit through the Advanced
Placement Exam, read more to find a good option for you!
Dual credit provides local high school students with the opportunity to earn college
credit from Kish while in high school. Programs include KEC, Dual Enrollment, EMSA
and dual credit classes at local high schools.
Kish's TRIO Upward Bound program works with students at DeKalb High School and provides
the support, motivation and academic preparation necessary to go to college. This
is a federally funded program.
Kishwaukee College will celebrate Black History Month throughout February by hosting several events and discussions for students and the public. Black History Month is observed annually to recognize and honor the accomplishments that Black people have made in the United States and across the world. The events hosted by Kish are free and may be in-person or virtual.
Kishwaukee College is pleased to announce its Part-Time Student Honors List for Fall 2022. To be eligible for this honor, a student must have completed a minimum of 6 (but less than 12) semester hours of college-level courses at Kish with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
